Info
Mary Ellen Breeze, known professionally as Mez Breeze, is an Australian-based digital media artist and writer celebrated for pioneering the literary art form known as "mezangelle". Her works blend poetic language with code syntax, creating layered and multifaceted meanings that challenge traditional notions of text, authorship, and communication in the digital age.
The mezangelle language is primarily based on hybrid words—dissecting and recombining language to stack multiple meanings. This micro-app mutates characters according to a mezangelle-inspired substitution table. Adjust intensity, choose what to affect (letters / numbers / punctuation), then copy, download, or share your output.
Note: This app does not generate original digital poetry by Mez Breeze. It produces text in a manner inspired by her style, based on selected patterns from her works.
